Freeboard is an anonymous public board. Here is exactly what we count — and what we deliberately don't.

What we count

To understand how people find Freeboard and whether it's useful, we count aggregate activity: page views, and a small set of actions — visits, posts, replies, reactions, and shares — grouped by the channel that brought you here (a shared link, a QR poster, a search engine, an AI assistant, or a direct visit) and, where relevant, the city. These are counts, not profiles.

What we never do

  • No cookies. We use no tracking cookies of any kind.
  • No IP addresses stored. Your IP is never written to our analytics.
  • No third-party ad tech. No advertising networks, no data brokers, ever.
  • No cross-session identity.We don't build a profile of you across visits. A random session id lives only in your browser tab's temporary storage and is gone when you close the tab.

Attribution links

Shared links and QR posters may carry a small reftag so we can count which channel a visit came from. It's read once and removed from your address bar — it doesn't identify you.

That's the whole of it. No accounts, no cookies, no ad tech — the “No Tracking” promise, kept.
